So we're going to dive into the offense next, Sean, and, you know, there's, there are going to be things that we'll

address that obviously need to get better and things along those lines. But as I'm going through

this and I'm breaking the game down and I was, I was writing my first half article about, you know,

what I saw from the first half, you know, the thing I'm looking at, I'm like, I was, I was frustrated

because I was like, boy, you were a couple just boneheaded

plays away from really having the breakout performance that we thought they were going to have

or that we thought this team could do somewhat regularly coming into the season right which is a team

that can run the ball a team that's got a quarterback that's dynamic can make can make plays you know a team that can run the ball, a team that's got a quarterback that's dynamic, can make plays, you know, a team that, you know, can throw the ball effectively.

You know, we thought the transfers would be impactful.

They've been kind of hit or miss.

Chris Mitchell's been mostly miss.

Bow's been a little up and down, you know, come out in this game, Sean.

You know, the offensive line's got these issues, you know, how are they going to be? You know,

is Riley going to figure it out? And I was talking with a friend of mine before the game. And he's

like, it's not that I don't think Riley can figure it out of this, don't think this offense

get better since I need to see it. And I was like, that's fair. Well, we saw it today, Sean. I mean, we saw it.

So, you know, well, I got to tell you what, man, when you look at this offense and,

and I look, I know Stanford's not that good, but I'll say, I texted you this after, you know know during the break and I texted several friends this

if Notre Dame plays offense this way even with some of the mistakes I mean honestly

but if Notre Dame plays like this the rest of the year this this team this team won't lose another game the regular season.

They're going to play some close games.
