We're talking about the Notre Dame Clemson series, that 12-year home-in-home that they scheduled, what was it, last year that got finalized and became official. And we're going to talk about the impact that it's going to have because obviously at the time it was, hey, this is a major player. We believed, especially at the time. Clemson was just fresh off of making the playoffs. They won the ACC again. Their roster was on paper, one of the best in the country. And you just go out and you sign a 12-year home and home with them outside of the confines of the current U.S., the current ACC deal that they had. And then you know, then last season happens, they go seven and

six. There's questions about dabbo. So now we're kind of at this pivotal point of what does this

Clemson rivalry, potential rivalry, bring to the table, this 12-year home and home. And what does

Notre Dame need from Clemson? Kind of sticking with the theme of, you know, last segment, we talked about

what Notre Dame needs from their 2026 schedule. Now, beyond, what are they going to need from one of

the biggest names on their schedule over the next 12 years? And that's Clemson.

The interesting reality of Notre Dame's schedule moving forward is there's no powerful

rival left on the schedule that's

guaranteed to be on it every year. There's no USC guaranteed to be on it. Maybe USC comes back in two

years, Trevin, this is a moot point. Maybe Notre Dame in Michigan or Michigan State, you know,

schedule some kind of, you know,

long-term rivalry in the next year. Maybe that happens. If it's Michigan State, that's great,

but what are the odds that Michigan State's going to return to the Mark Dantoneo era?

Michigan maybe, maybe there's a better odds that that happens. But again, it'd be the same thing

we'd be talking about Michigan, like how good are they going to be? But with no USC, with no Michigan, and with no Stanford,

there's no potential powerful rival that could emerge as a good opponent. The only team that you

have guaranteed to be on your schedule for the next 10 years is Navy. And so you've got this deal

with Clemson, they signed it like you were correct.

Triv is little less than a year ago. It was in early May is when they signed it.

So we're a few weeks from the first anniversary of that signing. And to your point, Notre Dame

was fresh off playing for the national championship and Clemson was fresh off winning the ACC and playing in the Conchful

playoffs as part of a string of like their worst season in the previous 15, 20 years
