This is going to sound a bit hyperbolic, but if they don't

play well this week, and I don't mean they got to go out and score 50 on Pitt, if they just

don't play, if they don't play well, just good football, line's got to be solid, C.J's got to play well, receivers, all that.

I'm going to be a little bit nervous about where this offense is going into the postseason.

Because honestly, I don't care what they do the next two games offensively.

I don't.

They could go score 60 each of the next two games and be nice and fun to watch,

but it's not

going to be like, okay, the offense is right. Syracuse's defense is a hot mess. Their team is a hot

mess. Stanford's defense is not very good. And Notre Dame is dominated in recent years. This is the

game where the offense is playing a defense that's going to be very aggressive, very multiple.

They're going to throw a lot of different looks at you.

They're going to bring pressures from all over. They're going to bring corner fire, safety blitzes, linebacker blitzes, twists, run stunts. They're going to show all, you know, they're going to show all blitz and drop eight. You know, they're going to, they're going to blitz from depth. They're going to do things to try to confuse you up front, and they're going to try to do things to confuse the quarterback.

They're going to try to create negatives. They love generating tackles for loss. That's why they're top 10 in the country almost every year in tackles for loss and sacks. They are going to try to create a heck of a lot of pressure on you and force you into a bunch of negatives.
