I lost power this afternoon. Today?

Yeah, today. Oh, wow. I think it was because I saw an abnormal amount of, you know,

like the trucks out working on power. And I think that while they were working on getting power back someplace else

ours went out for a while today. How long were you without it? A few hours. Oh wow. I tell you what,

it was long enough that I started smelling myself. I started realizing I have not taken a shower

yet today. So yeah. Like you know it's bad when you start smelling your own funk,

you know, like that's the biggest issue. Like there were some benefits to not having power,

at least in my house, right? Like all the screens went away and like my children actually

began to converse with each other. and they were actually like getting along and

playing together so like that was a bonus that was a thumbs up the thumbs down part was the

lack of showering and lack of toilet option um which was the biggest issue with a family of seven

you know boys didn't have a problem because there's bushes out in the back

because like we've got the well water that means that right you know like most houses you could

still take a shower without your power but when you're you know when you're in the city but when

you're out here you know in the rural area and you rely when you're, you know, when you're in the city, but when you're out here,

you know, in the rural area and you rely on, you know, like you need that pump, you know,

the water's got a pump. So no pump. So it was, you know, one flush is all we get.
