California.

I mean, excuse me, Texas.

The reason I say Texas is because it's going to be guys, like, you, if you can only recruit one area of the big areas, I'm going to recruit the area that gives me the best chance to land all types of players.

And Florida and California, especially lately, have not produced offensive linemen the way that they used to.

Florida is never that I remember being a great offensive line producing state.

California used to be,

and they just, they're not anymore. It's partly why USC has so much trouble building a great offensive line is because there's just not as many great players from California anymore

on the offensive line. There's some, but not a lot. I mean, they're left tackle that they love

so much Eliza Page is from Arizona. He's not even from California.

Texas still produces more linemen.

They produce quarterbacks, running backs, receivers.

California is a huge state that produces a lot of NFL players, but they're kind of more regionalized in certain positions.

They produce a lot of quarterbacks still, a lot of DPs, some linebackers.

But receivers, a lot of receivers, still, a lot of D.Bs, some linebackers, some,

but, you know, receivers, a lot of receivers, but not a lot of offensive linemen, not as many de-linemen as they used to, not as many linebackers as they used to outside of some of the

Polynesian kids. So that would be the case. Florida is just not a state that I would have to

want to rely on at Notre Dame

for a million reasons.

Carolina just doesn't produce enough at all the positions for Notre Dame to be able to get the same value that they would get out of Texas.

Now, fortunately, Notre Dame is recruiting all those areas.

And the same thing that's true about Carolinas is also true of the DMV.
