Iden Benami. What do you guys think about Aaron Taylor's comments about us, Notre Dame fans at home games?

I was asked about this on a show yesterday, and I think it's a fair comment.

Notre Dame fans are not a consistently raucous bunch.

They tend to be more that way for the bigger games, the bigger moments.

I thought this crowd was very loud at the beginning of Florida State game, and they got

pretty quiet as they realized Florida State sucked.

They were in, Trevor, you were at the Ohio State game last year.

That crowd, especially early in the game, was nuts.

The USC game and set, I don't know if you were there last year for that game.

That crowd was nuts in that game.

I mean, because Vince and I were outside for most of the first quarter.

And especially from the moment, I mean, they were pretty hyped when the game started.

And then when Xavier picks off Caleb Williams, I mean, from that moment on, that crowd was intense.

Intense. We've seen it 15 against Texas 14. I mean, from that moment on, that crowd was intense, intense.

We've seen it 15 against Texas, 14 against Michigan, 17 against USC.

I've been in that stadium sometimes when it is loud and rocking.

They're just not going to be that way for Northern Illinois.

They're not going to be that way for Miami, Ohio.

They're going to be that way somewhat for Louisville, but they're, they tend to just be, you know, for the big moments. But part of it, too, is NER name does this to themselves. When you charge as much, when you make tickets as hard to acquire as they do, people say, well, you know, season tickets aren't that much. They're only, and like, yeah, but you, unless you've gone through the process, you don't realize about the donation you're forced to pay if you get season tickets. That's five figures. Well, I can't afford that. I'm a business owner and I can't afford to go get season tickets. I can't afford to pay that kind of thing.

So when you do that, you're getting a different type of audience because then those people then, like somebody said to me, and I'm not faulting this person, but this is the reality of it. Hey, I got two of my season tickets. I had to pay for four of them. And I'm going to sell two of them. I'm going to try to sell them to kind of make back what I had to pay for this.

And that's how all of a sudden, you know, people that I know that would love to

go to this game that are middle class people like me are like, dude, I'd love to go this game, but I can't pay $500 for a ticket. You know, I got kids to take care of. I got mortgage to pay. I got bills to pay.
