Sean, getting into part two of the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to by our friends over at Fandu. We got a Thursday free for all mailbag going on. We've got Trevor Trowbridge, Sean Davis in here. Our guy, Brian's, he's nursing. He had surgery this morning. He's all good. He's back at home, knowing him, he's probably still working away because he's too stubborn to get a little bit of rest sometimes, but that's why we love them. That's why Irish Breakdown is what it is, man.

But we got the Thursday, almost called it the Friday, got the Thursday free-for-all mailbag going on. And in part two, we have Joseph Parr getting us kicked off here. Wisconsin brought in 33 players from the transfer portal. Who are the best players that they brought in? Glad you asked this question, Joseph, because Wisconsin is a team that I've actually been somewhat high on so far this off season. Not that I think they're going to be contending for the Big Ten, not because I think that they have a chance to go out and beat Ohio State in Columbus or upset Notre Dame when they go out and play at Lambeau Field. But this is going to be a sneaky good team and I like a lot of their portal pickups. So obviously you have to talk about the quarterback position. They picked up Colton Joseph from Old Dominion, who if you remember, Colton Joseph with his legs, gave Indiana's defense a very hard time in the season opener. Now, all things on the table, it was the season opener.

I you could have potentially been overlooking an opponent like Old Dominion, but he's a talented quarterback. And I think his abilities are going to allow Wisconsin to get back to what they should

be, a team built on the ground. When I think of Wisconsin, I think of stout run game, massive

offensive line, a lot of vertical push off the line of scrimmage. That's what I think of Wisconsin, I think of stout run game, massive offensive line,

And they're starting to get those pieces. They got Brian Jackson from USC at running back. He's a big

old kid at 235 pounds. I mean, you go down the list and you look at who they've picked up.

They got, they have Nate Palmer

coming in at running back from TCU. They got Carson Van Dinter, a safety who started at Iowa State.

They brought in Justice Boone from Arkansas, a player that Notre Dame is very familiar with.

They got Abu Samma III from Iowa State. He was a rotational back for them, talented

cornerback and Bryce West from Ohio State.

Never really panned out in Columbus.

But again, he's in contention in a cornerback room that had Davidson and Vinoson,

Jermaine Matthews comes back.

I think Devin Sanchez is going to be an absolute dude for them this year.

But they've got some really talented pieces coming in.

And I like what they're bringing around.

They got the Nigel Cooper in from Appalachian State.

He was a productive player during his time with them.
