All right, Sean, to kick off Friday, to kick off the mailbag, looks like we have Brian in here.

Well, he wasn't here for just a brief second, but we are getting ready to kick off the Friday free for all mailbag.

In 2024, Notre Dame attempted 27.8 passes per game.

If I set the over under at 33 and a half attempts per game, would you take the over or the under?

I'll probably go under.

I think early on, whomever. Well, it depends. If it's Steve Angelly,

you probably would flirt with that, but regardless of who the quarterback is, I think, you know,

all of them being first time starters are going to have to lean on the run game and that

offensive line that we expect to be a force.

So that would be, you know, the run game with big shots down the field.

So now we're talking about efficiency, big plays in the passing game and then the run game or that to complement the powerful run game the Notre Dame, we expect

them to have. So I'm going to go take the under 33 and a half and say right around 30 to 31.

I'll say 30 to 31 is pretty much where I would expect the passing attempts to be.

I would take the under as well because I do believe that it might potentially even be

under 27.8 passes per game in the early stages, especially because it's going to be a new

starter.

And so if we're to average 33 and a half towards the latter half of the season, it would have

to be above.

And so that could mean one of two things.

One, the passing offense really takes off.

Or Notre Dame is in a situation where they have to throw the ball 35 or 38 times in a game,

which I don't really see that being a factor.
