Question, is there a chance, a talented quarterback like C.J. Carr gets passed up for Steve

Angelie because of Freeman's philosophy to pound the rock first,

then have safe passes when needed.

I don't believe that's Marcus Freeman's philosophy.

Or if it was, I think he ceded control of that philosophy.

The reality is you don't hire Mike Denbrock, and Mike Denbrock doesn't take this job if that's your philosophy.

I think what we saw

this season was more about that's the offense that you needed with this football team.

You needed that with this group of players. You needed that with Riley Leonard and where he was in his time with the program and the type of receivers you had. I don't think this is what you're going for.
