We end every week here in the off season with a Friday free-for-all mailbag where we get to answer our daily listeners questions. And now that it's the off-season, we answer a wide range. Obviously, we talk about Notre Dame football, college football, but we'll sneak in the

occasional food question or history question in there as well. We like to cover a bunch of

different topics. Covered a lot already this week so far, Brian. I mean, we had the BISO hold.

We talked about offensive breakouts and 27 quarterbacks to keep your name on, to 2027 quarterback

names to keep your eye out for and obviously

there's going to be a lot more of that as the offseason progresses and believe it or not march

starts on sunday and so spring practice is also going to be here before you know it as well so a lot

Appreciate you, Tyler. Which quarterback competition is

more important to their team this year, Tennessee or Bama and who wins the job at both?

I mean, obviously they're big at both, but if I were to have to say which one is the most important,

I would probably go with the Battle of Tennessee. And the reason I would go

at the battle at Tennessee, Trev, is because I think the play of their quarterback is more

important to their success than even the play of the quarterback at Alabama. I also feel like

Alabama is a bit of a win-win in their quarterback battle. I like Austin Mac a lot. I like Keelan Russell a lot.

I kind of feel like with that one, it's like, it's kind of like how I felt about the Kenny

Minchie C.J. Carr battle last year, it's like whoever wins is going to be a dude. Because for you

to beat out that other guy, you've got to be pretty good. And honestly, that's why I'm higher on Alabama this year

than I was last year. I think their offensive line upgraded through the portal. Now, I think they

upgraded their offensive line coaching, I believe, with some offseason staff moves. And now it's

about, okay, get those offensive linemen to protect and open holes

for a pretty talented quarterback, whoever it is, a talented receiving quarterback, talented,

running back room. I felt like Alabama's play calling and offensive line were their
