danky-looking hotel room somewhere on the outskirts of Tallahassee. Bear with us if we have

technical issues during this one, but we have a lot to talk about Pete. I't even know where to begin I will say I'm glad we had this podcast to

just have a lot of straight thoughts because I think that's the only real takeaway I can

have from this game stuff that you can't tweet and you can't write just a lot of

examining to do because I don't know what I just watched for the last four hours

oh god it was it was entertaining.

Like, that's where I would start.

I mean, I think the thing that we've, you and I have talked about this.

I don't know if we've talked about in the Shamrock, but like, the thing that I was

most confident in Notre Dame football being this season was entertaining.

And when I say entertaining, I mean like entertaining from like a neutral observer point

of view or a journalist's point of view, maybe not entertaining from a fans point

of view unless you're just like high scoring back and forth football.

There's so much for this team to get figured out.

And I think, I mean, you saw some of it happen tonight for sure.

I mean, Jack Cones is probably as good a spot to start as any.

I mean, there was a point in the game where he had one more incompletion than he had touchdown passes.

He finished his 26 to 35 for 366, four scores, a throwaway interception, really.

They didn't have anything to do with anything in the game.
