So Trevor, now we get into the really good on good matchup.

And this is going to be the Notre Dame defense against the Navy

offense. And this is actually an even more fascinating matchup than I thought it would be

coming into it because look at Notre Dame creeping up in the run defense. This is when I was

putting these numbers together. I was actually really surprised by it.

And what Notre Dame has shown this year is that when Al Golden wants to say, we're going to

shut your run game down, they will do it so far. The question is, I don't know that he necessarily,

it's his priority going in every game.

But we have seen at times when he's like, okay, we're going to shut your run game down.

Purdue, they did that effectively.

They did that against Stanford very effectively.

They certainly did that against Georgia Tech.

They did that against Texas A&M.

When he's wanted to say, hey, look, we're going to, we're going to shut you down.

They've been, they've been pretty good rushing the football.

So, and if you look at Texas A&M, they're, they've only had one game where they've rushed

for fewer yards per carry than they did against Notre Dame.

Since then they've rushed for, they ran for 146 yards against their name since then

they've gone for 333, 310, 235, 134, 236 and then 136 this past weekend against Mississippi

State.

But they've scored eight rushing touchdowns the last two games against Missouri and Mississippi

State.
