Let's talk about the defense a little bit before we dive into Miami, Ohio.

And, you know, the offense isn't

the only unit right now that's got to deal with injuries. The Noreen defense also has to deal

with a very, very tough injury because through the first two games, the defensive line was not

playing to its potential at all. And you're heading into this

stretch now where the guy that was probably your best defensive linemen through the first

three games is now out. And that is Jordan Betojo. And Notre Dame is going to have to find

some answers. And there's some good news that there are some potential answers there, but you're going to have to have some guys step up.

Some guys may have to move around.

But they're going to have to find some answers.

And so when we talk about, you know, the Notre Dame defense building on Saturday, first thing they're going to have to do is figure out what they're going to do

on defensive end because you're going into this game against Miami, Ohio,

definitely down one player and maybe down two because Josh Burnham is still listed as questionable.

And even if Josh plays, will he be 100%? Probably not.

Honestly, for me, if it was up to me and i was i was noted i would i would sit

josh burdon for one more game and just let him get healthy because i i care a lot more about

having him for the louisville game than i care about having him for the miami o'iote game if you can't

beat miami oboeia without josh burdham you've got way bigger problems, like way, way, way bigger

problems. And so I look at this game and say, look, defensive lines got to get going.

Maybe not having Patelho and Burnham in this game could be a blessing in disguise because

you're now going to get those opportunities to go

out there and develop some other guys and some other players.
