So Trevor, Trowbridge, let's talk about the Notre Dame defense.

And this is a little bit of a different conversation.

And we talked a little bit about it yesterday. And we'll be a lot more brief about the defense.

Because again, the number one key of the defense in the final four games is maintain your current level of play.

We'll talk about areas where I think they can be better.

I do think they can get better. And the reason I think they can get better, Trevor, is because

they are so young. I think youthful players can progress more during the season than a, like,

like for Riley Mills and Howard Cross, it wasn't get better. It was get back to being who you are.

Like we know you, and that's what they're doing.

So they got better, but it was getting back.

Where Drake Bowen, it's about, dude, you have another level you can get to this year.

Kingston, you have another level you can get to this year.

Bryce Young, Leonard Moore, Chris Gray, Don Schuller, Jaden Alisbury, all those guys,

Josh Burnham even,

there's another level for you to get to within the season.

That's all fine and dandy.

But the number one priority, Trevor,

in the last four games of the season,

is keep doing what you are doing.

It would be an unfair, it'd be an unfair task to put on the defense and say,

we need you to be better than what you've been doing.

That doesn't mean they don't have the room to get better for all the reasons that you just listed off, right?
