All right, Brian, we are going to shift gears here.

Same conversation, different side of the ball.

And we are going to continue talking about the underrated and the underappreciated members of this Notre Dame football team.

And defensively, it's a little bit different of a conversation.

Like we talked about in part one, it's, you know, they rotate a little bit differently.

So naturally, there's going to be more players that get overlooked.

But there's a handful of players that we're going to talk about on defense.

And there's some at every level of the defense.

So I think a good place to start here would be along the defensive line,

but overarching defensively, as good as Notre Dame has been on defense last couple years,

hard to believe that there are still some players that are going underappreciated and underrated.

It is. I think you touched on part of it is because they do play so many guys and they do split

the reps the way that they do,

that there's just not the production from certain players.

You're just not going to see the high tackle for loss numbers from certain guys,

and you're just not going to see, you know, the, this guy had X number tackles and

tackles for loss and sacks and things like that.

And also the way that certain positions,

they don't put you in position to make a lot of plays.

They put you in position to do your job at a high level

that's going to then open up opportunities for somebody else to make plays.

There's some guys in this defense we're not going to talk about.
