Any good vibes, it's hard to defend him nowadays because some of something he's doing. But I think, Brian, one thing that we've learned over the last year to L.A.'s point is Marcus Freeman has shown that he's got the chop to be a really good head football coach.

Championship, we don't know that until he wins one.

But I think last year especially proved, and some of the decisions he's made to hire coaches and things like that has shown that he's got the chops to be a really good head football coach.

I think that he is probably as good a guys there is to have it, any program now.

He's going to get a phone call anytime a head coaching job opens up everywhere now.

And it's because he's earned it.

Scale of 1 to 10, how do you feel about Notre Dame having a top

five recruiting class for 2026? So just so you when we ever answer these questions, it's not

top five recruiting services. It's always top five based on my opinion of what's top five,

not what I believe to be, Brian, and you know my stance on this,

the flawed manner in which recruiting classes are evaluated. I still felt the best way that recruiting class evaluate is the way we all did it when we were together at SI with John, where it's like, look, you evaluate it, you give a subjective view to it, not this point system where you sign nine guys at one position and you're going to have a one class in the country. But anyway, so just how we evaluate the class, stacking the class up, scale of one to 10, Brian. How do you feel about Notre Dame having a top five recruiting class for 2026? Get your opinion and I'll give mine. Like a two or three. They won't sign enough players by the rankings. But for us and the way we look at it,

feeling needs, it's a top five class because don't get the guys that will A, be good, and B, not be there because of NIO. That's something I'm going to do a paddle very soon, by the way. It's a really touchy subject. Yes. Look, NIO matters to kids. This is not what we're talking about. Like, you're not, no top, like if Notre Dame would have said to Jadon Blair,

hey, you're going, no top, like, if Notre Dame

would have said to Jadon Blair, hey, you're going to come here for nothing. And I'm like, well, that tells me you don't value me at all if you're not willing to give me anything. It'd be a pinstead. But exactly, but Jaylon Blair didn't go into it. Like, you need to pay me the most amount of money. I can assure you that Notre Dame did not offer Jay Don Blair the biggest

amount of money. I know for a fact that Notre Dame didn't come anywhere close to offering Jeremiah, I love the biggest contract coming out of high school. Now, did they offer them some good money? Have they definitely given them? Yes, they have. But those kids are not picking Notre Dame only because are you going to pay me more than anybody else?
