Sean, we've got a few questions we're going to get to. I just want to start off of some super chats. We have one from Anthony Solomon. Thanks for the show, gentlemen. You are quite welcome, Anthony. Thank you very much for the super chat for being with us today. Brian Richmond with the super chat. He says, I do not believe it has been this good since Lou Holtz. Charlie got some recruits here and there, but couldn't coach. Kelly got decent talent, but was a pretty darn good coach. Freeman does it all. Sean, I do think that this is the best it's been since Holtz is here. I will somewhat disagree a little bit. I actually think Charlie could coach. I don't think Charlie could develop.

And Charlie couldn't build a roster. He could recruit, but he couldn't build a roster.

I think Kelly got decent talent by his own issues. Pretty darn good coach. I don't know that I'd

be that strong with it, but I also not enough to push back on it.

I do agree that Freeman does it all. He still has a lot to prove, but I think there's no doubt the

ceiling at the program is higher now than it has been since Lou Holtz was the head coach.

That's partly a big part of that's the head coach. The other part of that too is we do have to

acknowledge that

that Marcus Freeman is also getting a lot more support from the institution

than what Charlie got,

than what Ty got, what Bob Davy got.

Now, they weren't going to win anyway.

But my point is that you got the right coach,

but he also has a leadership structure that understands the value of investing in the football program, which means winning.

And winning means a big return on that investment.

That wasn't always true at Notre Dame.

It was true under Brian Kelly, despite him saying it wasn't.

Jack Swarbert did plenty to invest in the program.

Brian Kelly just didn't give him the return that he should have given him.

Marcus Freeman will and has so far.

And that's why he's getting that support.
