All right, folks, we have some mailbag questions to get to.

And if this is your first mailbag, which I would find it hard to believe that it is.

But if it is your first mailbag, super chats get bumped to the top.

But we have some questions in here.

As always, old faithful, Sauty Virginia Peanuts, blessed us with a mail bombing in here.

I am going to apologize in advance. If I don't have all of the answers for you in this one,

Brian is, as you guys know, the all knowledgeable one here at Irish Breakdown. So any of the questions

that he has or that you guys have that I'm not able to answer,

we'll be sure to kick those over to Brian. And then Sean Davis and I will be back here tomorrow at 1 p.m.

for the Friday free for all mailbag. And he also might have a little bit better insight to some of these.

But we're going to get started here. Mad 1 4. has a question. He says, has anyone inside the

program said who are the leading contenders for the starting quarterback position? So not,

not to my knowledge, this is still very much an open competition. They have yet to really even,

they have yet to take the field in spring practice.

I do know that spring is starting here within the next two weeks, which is really exciting.

Can't believe we are already to that point because it feels like the national championship game was a couple days ago.

And we're already rounding the corner into spring. And then before you know, we're going to be talking about fall camp. We did just get the spring schedule yesterday. So we're kind of sorting everything out. But there will obviously be content coming out for all of those. But as of right now, no, I don't think that the staff would even be able to name anybody who were leading.

I mean, as of right now, the leading contenders are, and this is a cop-out answer,

Steve Angelly, Kenny Minchie, and C.J. Carr.

And a lot is going to start to get sorted out in the spring.

So it's going to be interesting to see how that goes.
