There's a real chance that Notre Dame will play six top 25 teams at the time that they play in the first seven games of the season.

If they go seven and oh, where do you think they'll be ranked going into game number eight?

Number one, I kind of reject the premise of that. Like, look, I'm a Notre Dame fan, and I hope that this is absolutely true.

But I'll be shocked if six of the seven teams are ranked.

Because now you're telling me that you think that by the time they play, that Miami is going to be ranked, they will, A&M will be ranked, they will.

Your next five opponents, because he said six of the first seven, right?

Are Purdue, Arkansas, Boise State, and NC State, and USC.

I don't think maybe one of those teams, maybe only one of those teams even begins the season ranked. Yeah. I don't think maybe one of those teams. And I don't know that any of those teams are going to necessarily be undefeated. Arkansas could be undefeated. Like here's the thing is like, there's a real chance Arkansas could be ranked if they beat Notre Dame. If they're undefeated when they play Notre Dame, I'm like, well, if they're undefeated when they play Notre Dame, they'll absolutely be ranked.

But you're assuming that Arkansas is going to beat Ole Miss and Memphis on the road. And I'm not making that assumption. You know, like Boise State could be ranked if, you know, there's a good chance they may be ranked. but if they're not ranked to start the season,

Eastern Washington, Air Force, and App State

is going to all of a sudden jump them into the top 24. ranked, but if they're not ranked to start the season, I don't know if beating USF,

win that's going to jump them into the top 25? They play ECU, Virginia, Wake, Duke, Virginia,

I think at best five teams are ranked.

I think most likely three or four are ranked to start.

But if they go seven and oh, where do you think they'll be ranked going into game eight?
