C.J. Carr's improvement in his deep ball is the single most impactful improvement to take his game to the next level.

I'm going to sell that.

I'm going to sell that because I still think it's his ability to go through the reeds.

If CJ Carr is the same guy he was last year thrown the deep ball, yeah, there'll be some

missed opportunities. There's also going to be some great throws down the field. But if he's more

decisive on his, you know, taking some deep shots that he didn't take last year, being more

decisive when it comes to getting

the ball out to the right read.

So even something as simple as I've talked about this play before, but they ran that double

slant against Stanford.

He throws the inside slant, which is the right read based on what a red shirt freshman

should do.

But a veteran quarterback says, yeah,

he's technically open and he's going to get us the first down, but if I take this outside

of Jordan Faison, he's going to catch it and be able to run. Or I know this read is there,

but I'm going to still come to that backside dig because I saw the pre-snap leverage and footwork

and hip turned by the cornerback.

So I'm going to look ripe and then I'm coming to right back to that backside,

come back to Jordan Faison that's going to give me more than the front side seven-yard-out

is going to give us, right?
