Alabama's losses this past season were not flukes.

They have individual talent, but unless they build a better team for the upcoming year, I see them season were not flukes. They have individual talent,

So by so hold that Alabama is a 10-seat or worse in the playoffs or miss it entirely and is

eliminated in the first round this year if they do make the field.

This is a hold for me because I need to see how the spring goes and analyze their roster more.

But let me just say this.

My confidence in Alabama completely turning this thing back around took a big jump this week when Kaelin DeBore went and brought Ryan Grubbs back in to run his offense. They were a great pair. And I really think that was a big move. Now you have Ryan Grub and Jamarca Shepard back on the same staff again like you had at Washington. This is going to allow Kalen DeBore to run the team a little bit more. You now have someone he can trust more to just run the offense, more.

He can now be more of a head coach.

He's still going to be involved in the offense.

There's no doubt heavily in the offense.

But Ryan Grub is clearly someone he respects a lot.

So I think that was huge, huge getting him back this week.

Huge.

I need to look a little bit more out of that.

My gut on what I think they have coming back or what I know they have coming back on offense and defense.

I mean, they had some personnel losses, no doubt about it. There's still a lot of players coming back.

I think some of the guys that they lost to the portal were guys where it's like addition by subtraction.

And you're going to have more of your guys now in now this year.

Depending on who, it depends to me on who wins the quarterback job.

That's going to be the big key.
