alum success in the NFL, and Marcus Freeman's reputation will make Notre Dame the premier

location for talent like Lou Holtz's teams in the late 80s. I'll buy that. I don't know if

it'll be like Lou Holtz and that they're getting number one classes every year because I think

it's just done differently.

And this dispersion of talents different than it was back then.

You know, you could get elite players in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana and Illinois,

especially Illinois, in Pennsylvania at a much higher level than you can now, just volume-wise.

Sure.

Which hurts the ranking process. But like a premier location where they're one of the three or four best teams in the country acquiring talent, I don't care where they're ranked in the recruiting rankings. I'm just talking about people that know football looking at them saying, you know, boy, this team's as good as anybody, right? Like we keep hearing about, you know, Notre Dame doesn't recruit an elite level and blah, blah, and then you look at it, and they're like fifth or six every year and, like, most, you know, NFL players on a roster. But there's always a big gap between them and, like, Ohio State and Alabama and Georgia and stuff like that. I think that gap is going to close a lot over these next five, six years.

No doubt.

And I think when guys like Cam Hart going to the league as a fifth round pick and look pretty good,

that only increases Notre Dame's profile because you're like, look, man, like we kind of overlooked it.

You know, it's cornerbacked from Notre Dame, had some injury in history, you know,

didn't play a lot of great

this or that or the other thing of every other excuse in the world that they use not to play cam heart

or not to draft cam heart higher than he should have been drafted and lo and behold cam heart's

been pretty flipping good from everybody that i read what he's done in the NFL, right? So as more guys start having more success there,

because look at offensive linemen.

They get a lot of benefit of the doubt when it comes to drafting offensive

linemen because of the, I mean, you, Zach Martin, Quentin Nelson, Aaron Banks, Ronnie Stanley,

you know, you go down the list of guys.
