After Notre Dame racks up millions in the playoffs,

other teams will realize that independence is the way to go,

and the conferences will begin to fall.

Sell, because they're not stupid.

And they're not going to look at that that sounds so bad misdemeanor wagner i apologize that's not meant to say that your question is stupid or you're

stupid please don't take it that way what i mean to say is they know their books they know their

fundraising potential they know that they can't be Notre Dame in that regard.

Most schools can't.

There are some schools that I think could probably get away with it if they tried.

Like remember, Texas tried this.

There were some rumblings that one of the things that Texas was going to do

if the Longhorn Network took off was there was some

potential about them maybe going independent. Remember, they were like, they were talking with

BYU about setting up a rivalry and, and Notre Dame and BYU both convinced, or Notre Dame

and Texas got together to convince BYU to stay independent at a period of time.

And then obviously they didn't follow through on what they needed to do to help them stay that.

But there was a lot of things where if the Texas was thinking about it,

but like if Texas can't do it, then not a lot of people are going to do it.

Let's just be honest about it.

And it's because they can get that money
