Notre Dame will continue their annual blue gold game into the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately, I'm going to sell this because I don't think this is entirely Marcus Freeman's decision that even if he met everything he said about why they're doing the blue gold game, that it's necessarily always his decision.

So, yeah, I, Trevor, I've never wanted to be more wrong about a response than this right here.

But I'm going to sell this.

I think, I think Notre Dame is eventually going to follow the lead of other schools and

eventually get rid of their spring.

I mean, look at the practice access we got this spring.

Not only did we get fewer opportunities, but they even took a period away from how many

we used to get.

And then we get one full practice.

I just don't think they care as much about that. And I don't think that the school, like Marcus Freeman's comments about the fans being

so important of the Blue Gold game shows me that he cares more about the fan experience than the

school does by a thousand miles.

And I will stand on that. And Notre Dame people can get pissed at me all they want, but their

actions speak louder than words. And their actions absolutely show that they really don't care

all that much about the fan experience beyond how can they maximize getting as much from our bank accounts as possible.

So I'm going to sell this and I pray that I'm wrong.

I would love to eat crow on this drive. Love it.

I'm going to buy this with an asterisk on it because I do believe that there will be

a blue gold game every year for the foreseeable future.

But to Marcus Freeman's comments, I think it will be a form of a blue gold game.
