Mycelhold, the quarterback, quarterback group is not the biggest concern going into the season position group-wise.

I'll actually buy this because I think the floor relative to the talent level in the room at quarterback, I don't, definitely not concerned.

I do think it's, it still remains to be the biggest unknown, but I'm not concerned about it. No matter who starts for Notre Dame, whether it's C.J. Carr or Kenny Minchie, I don't have one guy or the other where it's, you know, if C.J wins and not Kenny, I'm not going to be, oh, okay, going with a redshirt freshman. Let's see how this goes. Or if Kenny beats out C.J. It's not going to, oh, okay, they're not going with CJ car, okay, I guess we'll see. The biggest concern for me is still the offensive line. It's going to make all the cogs in the machine on offense go. It doesn't matter if you have Malachi Fields and Jaden Greathouse and Eli Raredin and Jeremiah Love, if you can't protect the quarterback and expand on your inconsistent but flashy run blocking from last season, it's not going to matter who

you have at your skilled position.

So that is still my number one concern.

I'm going to agree that Buy is the answer here. I do somewhat disagree on the offensive line.

I think the offensive line is the most important position heading into the fall camp,

but it's not my biggest concern. I think tight end depth is still my biggest concern on offense.

That's still my big, and I think D tackle is still my biggest

question mark on defense. And I think both of those are bigger question marks in the

quarterback. For the exact reasons, Trev just pointed out. Yep. Guys, I think C.J. Carr is going

to be special. And if he's not starting this year, as long as it's a legitimate process,

and I don't have any reason to believe that it's not going to be a legitimate process.

I think this coaching staff wants the best quarterback possible to lead them to a championship.

I don't think we want to rig it for Kenny or rig it for CJ.

I have no evidence of that.

And so if CJs doesn't get hurt and he's still not starting, then what does that mean

about how well Kenny Minchie played in Fall Camp? Like, I'm good with that. I can live with that.

And so I'm just like, barring injury, I'm just not worried about the quarterback position. And to

Trev's point, I don't think that they need these quarterbacks to look like Joe Burrow

2019 because of what we think the O line could be, because of the running backs, because of the

talent receiver and tight end, because of the town on defense. I'm just not as concerned about
