No, they're not on my prediction list.

But they've got a lot of ingredients that I think are necessary to being a potential sleeper team.

They've got a veteran quarterback.

They've got continuity at the coaching staff. They've got a veteran quarterback. They've got continuity at the coaching staff.

They've got five returning starting offensive linemen.

Plus a good chunk of defensive impact players coming back, and they've recruited well.

And their schedule while challenging, meaning they don't have to go necessarily 11 and 1 or 12 and 0 to get in

is enough to where they can go 10 and 2, 11 and 1 and get in.

So like I don't know.

Some people might disagree with that, but I think there's a world in which Illinois goes 10

and 2 and deserves a spot in the in the

playoff.

So their schedule is they play Western Illinois at Duke, home against Western Michigan,

at Indiana, home against USC, at Purdue, home against Ohio State, at Washington,
