prove, you know, coordinating the, you know, he was the past game coordinator for an elite

past defense last two years, but I'm going to hope by that one.

For him and for Notre Dame, I'm going to hope by that one. That would be an ideal, ideal situation for me. So I'll hope by that one, but I don't know that I have any evidence. I mean, Marcus Freeman, as far as I know, didn't even interview Mike Mickens for the de-coordinator job this year. You know, so I don't know what evidence there is that he would do that, but I hope you're right. I'm a hope by that one. I'm going to say you, Mr. Trowbridge, you're by also. Yeah, I'm going to hope by it for a bunch of reasons. One, if Chris Ash is a one and done, that means the defense didn't take a step back, and Notre Dame probably made it back to at least the college football playoff semifinals.

I would love to see Mike Mickens' defensive coordinator in South Bend. And, you know, depending on how this plays out, it'd be a cool little redemption track for Chris Ash, too. Like, I mean, it'd be a big, hey, a lot of people doubted me coming in here, even the own fan base that I was hired into. And we had another elite defense. We didn't miss a step.

And now he has the opportunity to go prove himself in the NFL.

So I think it'd be a benefit for everybody all around.

I don't know how much interest Chris Ash is going to have as a defensive court in the NFL off one year at Notre Dame.
