Welcome back to another edition of the Irish Breakdown podcast. It is Wednesday,

March 5th. Can't believe it's already March, Sean, but we're here. And spring practice is right

around the corner. It's going to be a lot more fun content. We just got off the phone a little bit

with Brian. He's soaking up the sun and he's having a good time on vacation. So he's doing

everything that he came to still be present and around. But right now it looked like he was enjoying

the beach. And based on the view outside of my office window right now, I'm, I'm pretty jealous.

I don't know about you, Sean. But it is Wednesday, which you guys all know what that means.

We have our buy-so hold today. And there are some really good submissions. So if it is your first time ever doing buy-sell hold, what that is, is it's our thank you to the board members where they get to decide what topics that we discuss today. And they're going to present a topic, and then Sean and I are going to discuss it. And then we're going to decide whether we buy the topic, we sell the topic, or we put a hold on it. If it's something that we're not really sure, we're a little bit in between. If you miss the window of when to get your buy so hold submission in, you can always put in a super chat and those will get bumped up to the top. But before we get started today, Sean, how you doing today, man?

I'm doing pretty good, Trev. Doing pretty good. I'm excited, man. Came down to the city to take care of some business. That's why I'm in my city office right now. But I'm excited about buy salehold. It's my first buy sale hold. So, you know, I'm already, I'm ready to tap into this for the first time and see how it goes.

So we're going to go ahead and get this started. Our guy, Salty Virginia Peanuts, he gets everything ready for the Bysol hold.

And it's only fitting that we kick everything off today with his submission.

So Salty Virginia Peanut says Tank King will be the next great Notre Dame linebacker.

His recruitment will highlight the success Carter Amman and Max Bulla are having as linebacker coaches.

Buy sell hold, Sean.

Oh, I definitely buy.

That Tank King is going to be one of the next great Notre Dame linebackers. If indeed he commits to Notre Dame, then on top of that, we can't leave.

Sometimes we get so caught up in Carter Allman, Director of Recruiting Max Bullock, now the linebacker coach. The head coach did play linebacker, didn't he? The head coach was the one that changed the direction of linebacker recruiting as the defensive coordinator, didn't he? Yeah, that's fine. He was the one that came in and said, we need to get longer and more athletic at the linebacker position as the defensive coordinator. So we want to add them to the list. I just don't want to leave

them out. I'm buying all of it, but I just want to make an addition to buy into as well

with head coach Marcus Freeman. But yeah, I buy that. I love that. Yeah, Marcus Freeman came in and

he completely changed around the trajectory of recruiting at the linebacker position.
