I'm Pete Sampson, and I did make it to Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill to watch Notre Dame's 45-31 victory over Boston College.

Matt back home in Chicago, it was about what we expected, right?

There were some moments where Boston College was throwing some punches.

Ultimately, Notre Dame is a far superior team with a far superior quarterback, and that showed itself.

Fighting words, far superior.

And there actually were, like there were a few revelations that Shaw McDonough and Todd Blackledge

and Tom McShay and Malle McGrath revealed that I was unaware of at least.

I mean, not to belabor the point, but early on,

on the game's still competitive.

They showed Ian Books tweet from January 9th talking about how the circle got tighter

after Phil left.

They said they asked Ian about it.
