I promised an interview and it is with an interview and it is with Mike Bean from Notre Dame and I will just, I won't offer

any further explanation because we're going to do it in the interview. I talked to him earlier

today. He's an inventor, an entrepreneur of something that you've probably heard of and you might

not even know it. And so I'll just let him take it away.

Mike Bean is a longtime athletic trainer at Notre Dame and he's an entrepreneur as well. He's

with us on the show today. Mike, how's it going? Going well. We're just getting a little reprieve

here before spring football starts. So a little downtime to do a little work on my side job, which is with TACO ankle brace.

Well, I said longtime athletic trainer.

How long have you been at Notre Dame now?

I've known you for probably, what, around 25 years or something

like that at this point. Yeah, it'll be, it'll be 36 years come July 1st. And man, I tell you,

it has gone by so fast. But, you know, I guess it's true what they say. It's, you know,

time flies when you're having fun and I've been really blessed and fortunate to be able to do what I do what I'd love to do at a place I love to do it with people. I love to be around for that long. And it's been a real blessing.

Well, I know that you've worked with baseball in the past. You've worked with, you know, football for a long time as well and kind of some crossover there. What was the first sport that you

worked with when you got there to Notre Dame? Because 36 years, that puts you at 1990, basically.

Yep. My first year at Notre Dame was actually just a 10-month internship. And back then,

we had a staff about a third of the size of what we have now.

So I took care of women's soccer.

I helped with ice hockey.

I took care of men's and women's track.
