So that brings us to part two of the cornerback discussion.

And we've got, this is where we're going to kind of look at the depth chart and kind of break down some guys and have some fun with this.

And really kind of, if you don't, if you're not aware, we're going to introduce you to some of the players here and what they bring to the table and what their role may or may not be and and all of those kinds of things and

the fun part about this particular group guys is we kind of all know who the starters are going to be i

think we we can put them at least in in darker pencil uh but we kind of know the three guys that are most likely going to be. I think we can put them at least in darker pencil. But we kind of know the three guys

that are most likely going to be starting. But we also know that it's not just three guys that

are going to play in the secondary at the cornerback position and the nickel position. There has to

be depth. And from a position battle standpoint, this may be one that people necessarily think about guys

because the two deep is wide open. And who is going to fill those spots in the two deep?

What does that look like? Who's going to be field? Who's going to be boundary? Who's going to be

nickel? There's going to be some crossover, like, what does that

look like? Because we've seen it in the past, like multiple guys are going to get playing time

on this defense at corner and at nickel. So, you know, those position battles are going to be

key because those guys are going to be playing at important times.

There's no question.

I mean, it is interesting because there are some aspects of this second cornerback room that are settled.

Barring injury, your starting corners are going to be Christian

Gray and Leonard Moore and you're starting nickels,

going to be Devante Smith.

And they all showed that in the spring.

I mean, there's, you know, people want to create position battles that don't exist. Cornerback was one where that was happening.
