Oh my gosh, what's up, Ashley? It's been a full week. I feel like it's been years since we sat down and talked here.

Where on the shoot is that there was a rapture happening yesterday. Had it go, everybody who here has been praying good. No one listening. I guess that's the whole premise of the show, the leftovers., but I am like, if post-Rapture life is just keeping on, keeping on, not so bad. And maybe now I can finally get a carbone reservation. Let me tell you what. Because I imagine Drake and J-Lo all made it to heaven. Of course they did. Of course they did. And I guess what? Let me tell you something. Rent is about to go down.

Huge announcement worms. We are hosting a live memoir practice this Saturday at the Strand, the iconic bookstore in

New York City, right below Union Square. We are so excited to be in the rare bookroom at the Strand. It's so

cool. Every time I walk in there, I feel like I'm in the most beautiful book room in the planet like

Bell. We are celebrating the Strand's 90th birthday this weekend. We are part of an incredible lineup of speakers, authors, events that are happening

in store this weekend. And I'm so, so freaking excited to tell you guys who are our guest is.

Her name is Patricia Howard. She is the restaurateur and half of the couple behind New York

City restaurants, Dame, Lords, and Cravette. She is somebody that I went to college with and I've been looking up to her. Honestly, since I guess I started college in 2010, she has had this incredible experience in career in New York City. She started out as a creative writing major. She tried being a teacher for a while. At one point, she was actually a tutor on a mega yacht for the son of like a billionaire.

Oh my God. And how did she end up the owner of three major New York City restaurants? I mean, let me tell you something. They say if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. But to make it in New York City's restaurant scene is... Plus, she just had a baby. She opened a restaurant and had a baby in the same three months. I'm so impressed by her.

Every time I've met her, I've walked away with this with this era of I'm so impressed by her. To be in a room with someone I'm so impressed by and the room itself is a room I'm so impressed by. I am so excited for this Saturday. I guess I just have really been looking for the perfect opportunity to talk to Patricia and share her story with you guys because on our Patreon, we do Worm to the Wise every month and the amount of questions we get from 24 year olds going. I hate my boyfriend. I hate my job, but I feel like I'm too old to ever make a change. Is this it for me? And I'm like, at 24, I think Patricia specifically was like three or four jobs away from the beginning of her career.

And when you see how much she's accomplished and how much has changed for her in the last 10 years, you'll see that it's never too late. It's always just the beginning. I just feel in addition to being so inspiring, she is somebody that I think will help you change your outlook on your own life. So I'm just so excited to have her. We will be there live.
