Fox. By the time you hear this the election will be over. By that I mean the voting will be over.

Mursively the ads will be over and the mailings and the phone calls. We may or may not

know all the winners and all the races but the actual voting will be over

hopefully. The nonsense of trying to capture the essence of someone's life and a

30 second ad will end the sheer lunacy of a political process that claims an issue is life and death

or an existential threat to the republic.

That is all over for about a week and then the 2022 House and Senate cycles began and then

shortly thereafter the 2024 presidential cycle begins. Do you ever get the feeling the As I speak, there is no winner in 2020.

We're just waiting.

Waiting for election results is a little bit like waiting

on a jury to return its verdict.

Your work is done, there is nothing you can add, nothing you can do better, nothing you can amplify.

There's just waiting. I have waited for both election results and jury verdicts in my life.

Maybe there is something to be learned. and jury verdicts in my life.

Maybe there is something to be learned in that brief respite when there is nothing to do except weight.
