At the end of our last episode, Nothing is Real Fans,

we were looking from February into March 1970

when there was a Let It Be single that was ready to come out

while John was performing Instant Karma on top of the pops,

but no Let It Be album existed as such.

But under the auspices of people including Mr Paul McCartney,

a certain P-Spector was flying in to the UK in order to sprinkle fairy dust

upon the get-back tapes of January 1969.

That's pretty much where we're at, isn't it, Stephen?

Pretty much. Phil is flown in, done the instant karma, and then flown off again.

So he actually goes back to America, probably just to have a lie down.

But what he actually does is he go back to America, does another remix of instant karma without John's approval or knowledge, and puts that out as the American

single. So there are actually two different mixes, one of which does not have John's

approval. Yes. And is that a harbinger of things to come? We'll just park that there.
