This is part two of us talking about come together.

You can't catch John Lennon more or less.

In the first part, you might recall, we talked about how John brought this song to the Beatles,

recorded it quite quickly, put it out, it became a massive hit,

and then it turned into a massive legal headache. And where we left it last week, 1972 was becoming into

1973, and we have what's euphemistically called if we raise the curtain on the 1973 settlement

where it all goes away. This could potentially be our shortest podcast ever. Yes,

it's great. It's the way legal stuff should work. Right. What happens? Well, in the back end of

1973, the parties are gearing up for a trial. It's going to be heard in the New York Federal District Court

in front of a judge called Thomas Greaser. I think I'm pronouncing that right. I want to say

Greaser. I want to say Greaser. Yeah, Greaser, yeah. Greaser in a 1950s way. So we remember

that name, Judge Thomas Grieson.

They're gearing up.

Levy is all set to call Chuck Berry as a witness.

It's, that would be good.

I mean, you'd pay money to go to a court to see Chuck Barry on a witness.
