Somehow it's October.

This was an interesting week in legal news.

We had Donald Trump in court. We had Hunter Biden in court. We had Sam Bankman freed in court.

Maybe I'm missing a couple. I want to just talk real quick about a little bit of, I don't know

if it's a misunderstanding or a miscommunication, but I said,

and I 100% stand by this, and I've written about this and talked about it on this podcast,

but I said on the insider podcast last week that I still believe that Fannie Willis's

prosecution of Donald Trump is ill-advised, is unnecessary, and overall doesn't do good for the greater populace or for public

confidence in the fairness of these prosecutions. And various people responded by saying,

well, but Fannie Willis can flip people and maybe she can get to Trump that way. And, well,

a state case is not pardonable so we can nail Trump that way. Here's the miscommunication.

If your only orientation is Trump needs to get nailed, I don't care how anything that's

bad for Trump is good, then yes, Fannie Willis should charge and so should the six other states,

if that's your position, and Trump should be indicted 11 times. That's not my position. My position is Trump

deservedly has been indicted and should be held accountable, but it has to be done efficiently
