Hey everyone, Ellie here wishing you a happy Friday. Well, here we are after the first week of post-Trump trial verdict. Last week's

piece you may have seen got quite a bit of public attention and traction, including some

mentions and commentary and tweets from people I did not expect. Nonetheless, everything I say is out

there for public consumption. So God bless. Anyone who wants to comment,

positive or negative, go ahead. I'll tell you all the vast majority of comments I got privately and

publicly were positive and supportive and felt like the piece was an honest and intellectually

fair take on the trial. There was some negative reaction, much of which is conclusory or emotional, if you really

look at it, just sort of blanket declarations of how dare you? That's not much of a criticism.

I stand by everything I wrote. No one's pointed out a single factual error or logical fallacy in it.

People can disagree, I suppose. There's room for disagreement. This is not the kind of issue

where you can only see things one way. And I do respect the few people I saw who said, well,

I might take a slightly different view of how the law is likely to play out. More fodder for

discussion as we move ahead. This week, we're going to take a little break from Donald Trump.

Donald Trump's name does not come up in this week's piece. It'll come back, though, I believe, trust me. This week,

we're going to turn our attention to Delaware and the Hunter Biden trial. As always, I hope you
