So two quick notes before we start.

First of all, the other topic that I was thinking about writing on and talking to you all

about this week was the federal funding freeze, this sudden move by the Trump administration

to say basically all federal funding is now frozen except for some direct

payments to citizens. It was an outlandish move. It was a ridiculous move. It was a patently

unconstitutional move. As I explained on air a few times, it goes against Article 1. It goes

against the statute. It goes against a prior Supreme Court decision, but it now

appears the administration has backed off of this plan. They are pulling it back, whether entirely

or in some part, whether it's to be revived in the future in some respect. We shall see,

but it was just a ludicrous plan. I don't know what they were thinking in announcing it in

the first place. I don't know how they came to in announcing it in the first place. I don't know how

they came to their senses or why they wouldn't have realized the problems with the plan in the

first place. Alas, I don't think this storyline is totally over. We will follow it. Second of all,
