Okay, we've seen first of all where did suffering come from.

Well, in a manner of speaking, after the fall of man, the garden, the original system broke

down.

And from it, Romans 8 portrays two results.

The suffering of man, the groanings of creation, brings us to number two.

These points are going to build on the one prior to it.

While God has not abolished suffering, He has redeemed it.

He has chosen not to abolish suffering.

In other words, when man gave up his dominion through sin, a great measure of his dominion

in the earth cooperating with him, he might ask me, how did that all work?

I have no idea.

I just know that that is the theological truth, that the Word of God literally opens

with us early as Genesis chapter three.

One of the first things that Adam was told, you will take dominion over the earth.

Well now that dominion comes through a tremendous amount of struggling and a whole lot of

time, what we would call nature wins.

You understand what I'm saying to you?

So God did not take that dominion.

It wasn't like He said, okay, okay, man, you blew that.

So I'm taking it back.
