So come on, let's get into it.

I'm going to read this to us.

If you're following along, it's Judges, Chapter 6, verse 11 and 12.

It says this.

Now, the angel of the Lord came and sat under the tarabinth at Oprah.

I don't know if it's Oprah, but we're going to go with Oprah.

We're going to go with Oprah, which belonged to Joash the abysman while his son Gideon was threshing wheat and the wine press to hide from the Midianites.

So this is what we see. We see that the angel of the Lord Jesus is coming to Gideon.

Now Gideon is an Israelite. He is living with all the other Israelites. And in this time in history, the Israelites are being bullied by the Midianites.

That because of their rebellion, it says that in the Bible that God has given them over to the

Midianites and anything that they tried to do, any advance that they tried to make,

any crop that they tried to grow, that the Midianites were always there to cut them down,

to cut them off, to put them in their place. What the Midianites are always there to cut them down, to cut them off, to put them in their place.

What the Midianites are doing right now is they're being bullies.

They're bullying the Israelite people.

Gideon has the mindset of, I have a bully in front of me.

And here's Jesus.

Here's God coming to Gideon, and this is what he says, as Gideon is threshing the wheat.

It says, an angel of the Lord appeared to him and said,

The Lord is with you, O mighty man of valor.

This is Gideon's response.
