There's a moment where somebody asks one of the main characters, what do you say to the bad guy?

And the character responds, not today. And I love it because it's such a simple declaration,

but also a statement about how hard you're willing to fight. You know what? I get that they're

bad things on the rise, and I get that things aren't working out the way we wanted it to be,

but today is not the day that I plan to lose. And for so many of us, we come up against like a hard

road, a hard moment, and we are like, you know what? It is what it is. We try it, but so much of

our response should be not today. Like today's not the day that I'm planning to lose. Like I'm not

giving up. I'm gonna keep fighting. So when I think about what it means to be up against this

administration, what it means to be under the spectra of even more trauma in so many communities,

my response is not today. Let's go. What's going on, everybody? I wasn't able to make the news
