Hello everybody, welcome to Downsnow's History. I've got a wonderful bit of news for you all today.

This is super exciting. Professor Susanna Lipskin, one of the most talented historians working anywhere in the world,

So it's an extraordinary period of history. The end of the Renaissance, the beginning of the modern world in so many ways.
