Let me start by asking you this question, have you ever thought about what the consequences

are of being lazy?

It's kind of a broad question, isn't it?

There could be lots of consequences depending on the context.

So let me ask it this way.

What are the consequences of being, let's say, a lazy parent?

Now it becomes a little more clear, doesn't it? You begin to see the laziness of a parent will have an effect on the kids, right? And it's going to be a negative effect on the kids because they're not going to be disciplined properly or in the

godly way they may not be fed or clothed properly you see laziness can have all

kinds of negative effects today's passage is found in Romans 12-11, so get out your copy of the scriptures.

We're going to be talking about a kind of spiritual laziness that we need to avoid as believers in Jesus Christ.
