Three years back when Disney rolled out its streaming platform Disney Plus, it made

something of a promise to parents everywhere. No R-rated movies. The platform wanted to establish

itself as family-friendly, and with a library of hundreds of kiddie movies and TV shows,

well, it did exactly that. But as of the last few weeks, change has come to

the streaming maven in mid-July. It added three new films to its repertoire, all Marvel films,

and all rated R. This follows the addition of several Marvel TV shows, all rated for mature

audiences, that the streamer picked up from Netflix

earlier this year. So, is Disney Plus coming of age? Well, the decision to add the films,

Logan, Deadpool, and Deadpool, too, may be a relief for Marvel fans and any parent who
