He's rich, she's poor, he has servants, she is a servant.

Yet Jesus gives healing to both of them in response to faith.

He makes no distinction.

They're stature, they're accomplishments,

even their righteousness.

You know, I bet if you asked a few random strangers

on the street where they think they'll go when they die,

odds are that most of them think they're going to heaven.

And if you ask them why, most people will say

it's because they're a good person

or because they've done something good with their life

or maybe simply because they haven't done anything that bad.

But the truth is, our salvation has nothing

to do with anything we've done or haven't done.

It's all because of what Jesus already did.
