Got in touch after last Tuesday's episode to tell us just how many mentors last week had

been and in particular, the conviction of Derek Chauvin for murder.

This is Amber from Alaska, by way of Georgia.

So as you can imagine, I have had a vested interest in a lot of the goings on recently

in America politics.

And I just want to thank you all for your podcast because sometimes it's really nice to have

the outsider's perspective on the chaos inside your own country.

But I finally felt compelled to send you all a message for the first time since I started

listening when you started because while I have always been very proud to be American,

tonight was one of the first times in a while that I've been proud of America and the results

of the Derek Chauvin trial.

I support police hours in general very much so, but what happened there was wrong and

I'm so glad we as a nation got it right this time.
