Hello and welcome back to another episode of LOL Storytime, the Goofy Story Podcast for Kids.

Today's story is called Not Afraid and features characters named after Jamie, Harper, and Emma Newn.

let's get into the story.

This is the story of a boy who loved scary stuff.

Day or night, Jamie was always down for a good fright.

The thing is, over the years it had become nearly impossible to scare him.

Things that would send other kids running in terror would do little more than put a smile on Jamie's face.

When a traveling haunted village came to town, Jamie had high hopes that perhaps once again he might feel that spine-tingling sense of terror he used to love.

The haunted village had been touring around the country for years, and after Jamie's town was announced as the newest location, he was the first in line to buy tickets.

The work that went into assembling an artificial village in a nearby farm field was very impressive.

On opening day, ticket holders were ushered through the main entrance and invited to walk along the village road and enter the various buildings.

There were surprises around every corner waiting to give visitors the hebe-jeebies.

Whether an eerie sound, a person dressed like a zombie,

or something suddenly popping out at you, this place definitely delivered the screams.

For most kids, if it wasn't the creepy rats in the first building, then it was almost always

the hungry goblins than the next one that sent kids running back to their parents' cars.

Jamie's sister Harper was no exception.
