Today Donald Trump was rebuked by the one judge who he was hoping might give him a leg up.

In a new decision this afternoon, Judge Aileen Cannon appears to have basically ignored one of the Trump team's most brazen requests in the entire classified documents case.

Last month, Trump's lawyers asked Judge Cannon to allow Mr. Trump to view the classified documents at issue in

his Marilago club while he prepares for trial.

Now that request was fairly outlandish given the fact that the charges in that case all stem

from Trump's decision to take classified documents down to Marilago in the very first place. Special Counsel Jacksmith's team argued that those documents should be treated like all other highly classified material and that Trump's team should only be able to view them in a sensitive compartmented

information facility, what is known as a skiff. Well today Judge Cannon issued

her decision on this matter and it is important to note here that

Judge Cannon did not specifically deny Trump's request to look at classified

documents at a Florida Beach club but she did not grant it either.
