This show should have been a mini-series.

It should have been an 8 to 10 episode miniseries, one and done deal.

And if you ever read the book, and the listeners, if you have, this story is very much

about, it's about Vic. I mean, Vic is the main character of the book, but it's also all about

her and Charlie. And what's interesting, and I'm trying to spoil too much, but what I read, the last, like the end of the series, like the 10th episode, is the first page of the book.

Oh, okay.

Now, granted, the book is kind of told out of order.

There's, like, you know, different time periods and stuff, but, like, you know, it opens with kind of the hook where it's like this happens and we're going to go back a little bit.

It's like your least favorite narrative trope.

But it's not emitya res.

It's not where it's like, oh, like there's this like really crazy climax happening and boom.

It's like, oh, here's like one inciting incident and we're going to go back a little bit to tell you about how we got

here but it's not like the same it doesn't have that same annoying effect that you don't like

but that all of the family drama with vick is relegated to not even like when you're reading

the book it's not happening like it's like she tells you like

vic because you're in vick's head in her in her chapters she tells you about it and like you know

her dad she just transferred my dad oh the weird thing is too though because the book is split
