Hey, Doug. kicking things off with earnings reports from two cruise lines. Yeah, it was sort of a good news,

bad news scenario. It was good news for Royal Caribbean and not so great news for Norwegian.

It turns out Norwegian posted a loss of about $40 million on now. Granted, that's on revenue of

$2.1 billion. So it's not like they're really

hurting, but all of the various factors, when they're combined, sort of combined to

indicate that there's a little bit of a softening in the market where Norwegian is concerned.

In fact, they had been forecasting a full year growth of 3%. And after this earnings

call, or in this earnings call, they lowered it to be between 2 and 3%. They said that the total

revenue and passenger cruise days were down partially because there was a lack of capacity due to dry docks.

In other words, when the ships are in dry docks, they're not sailing, let alone at full capacity.

And so that kind of factors in.
